Computer Systems Technician (Sept 2023 – Aug 2025)
Built a resilient web server infrastructure using AWS EC2 and a master-slave model. Automated static site replication across instances using rsync and cron. Implemented NAT and iptables rules for port forwarding and access control. Focused on automation, uptime, and replicability using AMIs.
Designed a Cisco Packet Tracer lab with three routers and multiple subnets. Configured RIP routing, applied ACLs to segment traffic, and simulated both successful and failed ping tests to validate rule behavior. Focused on protocol understanding and policy enforcement.
Performed simulated attacks such as DNS spoofing, SYN floods, and ARP poisoning using Kali Linux tools. Detected incidents using OSSIM and Wireshark. Created custom UFW and iptables rules for mitigation. Emphasis on real-time visibility and defensive response strategy.
